Terms of Service
Prices are located over on the service pages above. Designers of Vibrant Designs (hereafter referred to as "Designer") reserves the right to give the author (hereafter referred to as "Client") a price differing from those listed on the website. All prices and fees will be disclosed up front prior to work beginning. These prices include the licensing of up to two images from DepositPhotos.
Payment
Payments are to be remitted by Client via PayPal. A deposit is required per project/cover upfront to reserve your space on all custom work unless there is a sale running in which the customer will have to pay in full. There are no refunds on any order, therefore there are unlimited revisions. The order is not considered complete until the customer is satisfied.
The remaining balance of the invoice is due upon approval of the order before the project is started. No final files will be delivered on invoices with outstanding balances.
Credit
Please credit Vibrant Designs somewhere within your book, such as on the copyright page, or on the back cover itself. Links should direct to www.vibrantdesignscovers.com
Raw Files
The listed prices DO NOT GIVE CLIENTS ACCESS TO THE RAW .PSD FILES used to create your cover, due to copyright reasons. If Client feels they need the flattened artwork with separate text, this can be supplied for a nominal fee.
Upon request, Designer is happy to supply a transparent .png of Client's title for use in their book's interior or on promotional material at no extra charge.
Copyright
Designer retains copyright to the completed artwork (similar to buying a painting: you own the painting and can display it however you wish, but the artist retains the copyright). Designer is allowed to display the work in her portfolio or as a printed work for promotional purposes.
Client has the exclusive license to use the final cover design (.pdf, .jpg, or other publishing-ready format) for their book cover and associated promotional materials. Client is responsible for following the licensing rules of the images and fonts used. Designer is not liable for Client misuse.
